A 2015 report into palliative/end of life care found more than 30% of people who died in hospital were reported by their families and carers to have received “poor”. It was also found that up to 300,000 patients on the end of life care register could have received better care. We have brought together the principles of palliative/end of life care in a 3-hour, ONLINE masterclass. As our involvement as clinicians in end of life decision making, planning and reviewing increases it is vital we are up to date with the best practice guidance in order to give patients the best experience during the terminal phase of their life.
